Our lab focuses on three main research themes:

How do complex signaling networks give rise to precise, cellular behaviors?
What are the origins and impact of cellular heterogeneity in cellular decision making, tissue development and homeostasis?
How can approaches from the first two questions be applied to understand disease progression and develop new therapeutic strategies?

A common theme is the combined use of single-cell perturbation assays, quantitative imaging, machine learning and theory, empowered by our multi-disciplinary approach and teamPostdoctoral positions for experimentalists, computational scientists and theorists are available for 2016.
